This Is the Hardest Golf Shot in the World

  • On October 24, 2013

Mark Twain called golf “a good walk spoiled.” That critique doesn’t apply to the Nineteenth Hole at the Legend Golf & Safari Resort in South Africa. The only access to the tee is with a helicopter. It’s on a cliff 1,400 feet over the putting green. Assuming that you’re on target, the ball is in flight for 26 seconds.

The par is 3, but if you can get a hole-in-one, the resort will give you $1 million. No one has ever successfully made the shot, though.

Make sure that you land close to the green because the obstacles are pretty rough.
